We over here at Sexymanswag picked up on XXYYXX’s defining track “about you”(off of his debut album) through the self marketing website and fell in love. Marcel Everett is the 16 year old Orlando producer, better known under the artist name XXYYXX. Marcel has been compared to James Blake, Giraffage, and Star Slinger…for his music seems to be more conceptual ambient drum sequencing and “vibey” vocal sampling that literally makes your heart melt. XXYYXX works out of his own bedroom studio and has managed to grasp the attention of big name music blogs such as XL8R, Earmilk, and Indie Shuffle. Marcel produces harmonious music that provokes emotion and transmits vivid images of peace and still sadness. His debut full-length album and the rest of his releases are available through digital download on Relief in Abstract Records.
